your return is accepted, we will email you a return shipping label to
print and attach to your package before dropping it off at a drop-off

Will these actually look real, or cheap and nasty ?
That’s the big question! Honestly, faux plant tech has come leaps and bounds since those shiny plastic things you saw at your nan’s house in the 90s. Our plants are designed with obsessive attention to detail—we’re talking realistic leaf textures, natural colour variations, and even imperfect stems. Most of the time, your guests will have to touch them to figure it out. It’s all the lush look without the plastic vibe
Can these handle the harsh Aussie sun ?
This is crucial. The sun down here is brutal and will bleach standard fake plants in no time.
The golden rule: Always check if the specific plant is marked as "UV Resistant."
If it is treated for UV, it can handle a spot on the balcony or in an alfresco area (though undercover is always best to make them last longer). If it’s not UV rated, keep it indoors away from harsh, direct sunlight windows, or it will fade fast.
What’s the go with maintenance ?
This is where you win back your weekends. The maintenance is bare minimum. In our sometimes dusty climate, they just need a quick dusting with a feather duster or a wipe with a damp cloth once a month to keep them looking fresh. For bigger, broad-leaf plants (like a Fiddle Leaf Fig), giving them a quick rinse under a lukewarm shower once a year works wonders.
Does it arrive ready to rock right out of the box ?
To ship them economically across the country, they usually arrive a bit compacted in long boxes. They require a little bit of "zhooshing" (styling) when they arrive. Spend 5 or 10 minutes gently bending the branches and shaping the foliage outwards. This crucial step gives the plant its volume and natural look. They usually arrive in a basic black starter pot, ready to be dropped into your favourite decorative planter.
Are they safe for my fur-babies and kids ?
This is a massive bonus compared to the real thing. So many popular indoor plants here (like Monsteras or certain ferns) can actually be toxic to cats and dogs if eaten. Faux plants eliminate that worry entirely.
However, they are still made of synthetic materials. You just need to use common sense and make sure pets or young kids aren't chewing on them or swallowing small parts to avoid any choking hazards.

This is our top priority at Greenery Warehouse. We select "Real Touch" or semi-natural plants. Our foliage mimics real textures (veins, colour variations, natural imperfections) and our trunks are often made from real timber or hyper realistic moulds. Unless you get right up close and touch the leaves, it’s often impossible to tell the difference from the real thing.
Myplant arrived a bit squashed in the box. Is that normal?
Absolutely! To protect the foliage and keep shipping efficient, our plants are packed compactly. This is where the magic happens: the stems of Greenery Warehouse plants have an internal wire core. When you receive it, take a few minutes to spread out the branches and curve the leaves to your liking. This "styling" step is what gives the plant its full volume and natural look.
How to Pot & Style Your Artificial Plant?
Since your plant arrives unpotted, you have the creative freedom to choose the perfect container. Here are the best ways to secure your new greenery for a stable and realistic look.
Option 1: The Vase Method (Quick & Chic)
If you are using a vase with a narrow neck, you can simply place the stem inside.
- Tip: If the vase is clear glass, add river stones or pebbles to the bottom to hold the stem in place and add a decorative touch.
Option 2: The Pot Method (Sturdy & Realistic)
For a standard planter or basket, you will need to create a stable base so the plant stands straight. Here are the three best fillers to use:
1. Floral Foam (The Lightweight Choice)
- Cut blocks of dry floral foam to fit tightly inside your pot.
- Push the stem of the plant firmly into the center of the foam.
- Best for: Indoor areas where wind won’t knock the plant over.
2. Sand or Soil (The Heavy Duty Choice)
- Fill your pot with sand, dirt, or dried potting mix.
- Insert the plant stem deep into the mixture and pack it down tight.

No. The pots and styling accessories (like pebbles) shown in the images are for inspiration only. To ensure safe shipping and give you complete freedom to match your decor, our plants are delivered unpotted (without a base pot).
